Power outage disrupts services at Bir Hospital

Kathmandu, August 21 - Bir Hospital has been experiencing a power outage since around 10-11 this morning due to a transmitter failure.

The hospital has reported that the lack of electricity has disrupted medical treatments throughout the day.

 According to hospital sources, power has been intermittently interrupted 15 to 20 times per hour as generators are being used.

Most treatments and check-ups that rely on electronic equipment have been halted since this morning. The hospital stated that, despite the ongoing power issues, repairs have not yet been completed.
