Fire erupts near Banglamukhi temple in Lalitpur

Lalitpur, August 19 - A fire erupted near the Banglamukhi Temple in Lalitpur on Monday morning. Lalitpur Municipality's City Police Chief, Sitaram Hachhethu, informed that initial findings suggest the blaze was caused by a gas leak.

Hachhethu explained that the fire started during the preparation of snacks for a fair taking place in the area.

To combat the blaze, three fire engines and a water tanker from the metropolis were dispatched, and 30 city police officers were also on site.
