Air Dynasty Crash: Communication lost three minutes after takeoff

Kathmandu, August 7: The Civil Aviation Authority stated that communication with Kathmandu Tower was lost just three minutes after the Air Dynasty helicopter took off.

The helicopter, identified as flight 9N-AJD, departed from Kathmandu Airport at 1:54 PM on Wednesday, bound for Syafrubesi in Rasuwa District.

The authority confirmed that, in addition to the captain, there were four passengers, all Chinese nationals, on board.

 It was reported that the helicopter lost contact with Kathmandu Tower after three minutes of flight and subsequently crashed in Suryachaur, Shivpuri Rural Municipality-7 in Nuwakot District.

Following the incident, a Prabhu Helicopter Company aircraft was dispatched to the crash site for rescue operations.

Rescuers have found the bodies of four individuals.

The helicopter was piloted by Captain Arun Malla.
