Previous Air Dynasty Crash in 2019 mirrors latest incident in Nuwakot
Kathmandu, August 7: An Air Dynasty helicopter crashed on Wednesday at Shivpuri in Nuwakot.
The 9N AJD helicopter, which was carrying five passengers including pilot Arun Malla, went down during its flight from Kathmandu to Syafrubesi in Rasuwa.
DSP Tilak Bharati of the District Police Office Nuwakot has informed that four bodies have been recovered so far.
In a previous incident in 2019, another Air Dynasty helicopter, call sign 9N AMI, crashed while returning to Tehrathum from Pathibhara Temple in Taplejung.
The crash was attributed to poor weather conditions and resulted in the deaths of then-Tourism Minister Rabindra Prasad Adhikari and Air Dynasty's managing director Aung Chiring Sherpa, among others.
