Latvian arrested at TIA with 6 kg cocaine

Kathmandu, August 7: Police have detained a foreign national at Tribhuvan International Airport with 6 kg of cocaine.
The individual, identified as 51-year-old Ivars Valters from Latvia, arrived in Kathmandu on Wednesday at 1 am aboard Qatar Airways flight QR 644 from Doha.
According to Dinesh Acharya, SSP at Narcotics Control Bureau, an investigation has been launched following the seizure of the cocaine from Valters.
