Three missing in Gorkha landslide

Pokhara: Three people are missing after being buried in a landslide in Dharche, Gorkha. According to the police, the landslide swept away a house and a shed in the village of Resa, located in Dharche Rural Municipality-5.

Gorkha Deputy Superintendent of Police Ramesh Kumar Shrestha reported to Ratopati that out of five individuals injured in the landslide, two have been rescued, while the remaining three are still missing. The exact nature of the structures affected is unclear, with reports indicating it might be a barn, another house, or a shop.

The police have dispatched teams from Machikhola and Laprak to the site. Shrestha added, "Detailed information will be available once the police team arrives and assesses the situation."
