First martyr of people's war remembered

Kathmandu - The CPN (Maoist Centre) has remembered the first martyr of the people's war Dil Bahadur Ramtel, and paid tributes to him.
At a function held on the first day of the martyrs' week, Maoist leaders and cadres offered flowers and garlands to the photo of Ramtel, who was killed in Gorkha on this day in 1996. The Maoist party has been observing Falgun 14 to 21 in the lunar calendar as the martyrs' week every year.
