Raid at Casino Palace

Kathmandu: The Department of Revenue Investigation conducted a raid at Casino Palace situated at Durbar Marg. During the operation, the department's team confiscated a sum of 15 million from the casino.

Chakra Bahadur Budha, Director General of the Department of Revenue Investigation, informed Ratopati that the raid was prompted by intel regarding illicit foreign exchange dealings.

Additionally, it was discovered that the casino was also accepting Nepali rupees. The department has further taken possession of the casino's safe and locker for further investigation.
