Nepal secures semi-final spot in ACC Premier Cup, eyes victory against Saudi Arabia today

KATHMANDU: Nepal's cricket team has secured a spot in the semi-finals of the ACC Premier Cup, setting the stage for an exciting final group stage match against Saudi Arabia today.

Having dominated their previous matches, Nepal is riding high on three consecutive victories, accumulating 6 points and ensuring their place in the semi-finals.

Their journey began with a solid win over Malaysia, where they chased down a target of 144 runs with ease, led by Kushal Bhurtel and Arif Shaikh's strong performances.

In the following match against Qatar, Nepal displayed their batting prowess, setting a challenging target of 211 runs, thanks to Dipendra Singh Airee's stellar knock, including a remarkable feat of hitting six sixes in an over.
