Fuel Price Surge: Petrol hits Rs 178 per liter starting today

KATHMANDU: The Nepal Oil Corporation (NOC) has announced a significant increase in the prices of petrol, diesel, and kerosene, raising them by three rupees per litre each.

The revised prices will come into effect from midnight tonight, as stated in a press release issued by the NOC earlier today.

The decision to hike the fuel prices follows the recent upward adjustment in petroleum rates by the Indian Oil Corporation, according to the NOC.

Under the new pricing structure, petrol will now be priced at Rs 178 per litre, while both diesel and kerosene will be available at Rs 161 per litre.
