Gold prices soar to record high: Reaches Rs 139,000 per tola

KATHMANDU: Gold prices have surged to an unprecedented level, reaching a new peak of Rs 139,000 per tola as of Friday.

The Nepal Gold and Silver Dealers’ Association has announced the price of fine gold at Rs 139,000 per tola, while standard gold is trading slightly lower at Rs 138,350 per tola.

Meanwhile, silver prices have remained stable at Rs 1,775 per tola.

A tola is equivalent to 11.66 grams.
