Probe committee formed to investigate fire at APF's store room

KATHMANDU: Following the fire incident at the store room of the Armed Police Force (APF) in Satungal, Chandragiri municipality, Kathmandu, a nine-member probe committee has been constituted to look into the matter.

The committee, led by APF's Additional Inspector General Bamshiraj Dahal, aims to identify the reasons behind the fire, according to APF's SSP Rajendra Khadka.

Preliminary investigations suggest that the fire was caused by a short circuit, Khadka mentioned.

Home Minister Rabi Lamichhane instructed the APF to form the committee to investigate the incident.
