RSP affirms commitment to governance: Home Minister Lamichhane
ILAM: Deputy Prime Minister and Minister for Home Affairs Ravi Lamichhane reiterated his party's unwavering dedication to governance, emphasizing that the Rastriya Swatantra Party (RSP) would remain in the government as long as it delivers on its promises to the people.
Speaking at the party's candidate announcement ceremony for the upcoming Ilam-2 by-election at Ilam Chowkbazaar, DPM Lamichhane underscored the party's commitment to public service delivery.
He clarified, "We have joined the government with a clear mandate: to deliver. If we fail to fulfill our obligations, we will gracefully step down."
Addressing concerns raised by the public regarding the party's involvement in the government, Lamichhane emphasized that their decision was driven by a sincere desire to maximize efforts for public welfare. He stated, "While some may question our decision to join the government, we firmly believe that it provides us with the platform to enact meaningful change and address the needs of the people."

The ceremony, attended by dignitaries including Youth and Sports Minister Birajbhakta Shrestha and Vice President Dr. Swarnim Wagle, witnessed the official announcement of Milan Limbu as the RSP candidate for the upcoming House of Representatives by-election in Ilam-2. President Lamichhane sealed the announcement by ringing a bell, symbolizing the party's readiness to contest the election.
