Tragic tractor accident claims five lives in Achham, leaves three injured

ACHHAM: A devastating accident involving a tractor occurred today in Mallekh rural municipality of Achham district, resulting in the loss of five lives and leaving three others wounded.

The deceased have been identified as Rang Dhami (55), Janak Dhami (15), Prem Dhami (45), Nar Bahadur Dhami (37), and Janak Dhami (21), all residents of Mallekh-1, as confirmed by Police Inspector Arjun Saud, Information Officer at the District Police Office.

The accident transpired as the tractor bearing registration number 01002 Ta 4979 was en route from Shodasha to Sanphebagar.

In addition, Lal Bahadur Dhami (42), Hansa Dhami (40), and Devendra Dhami (15) sustained injuries in the mishap and have been rushed to Bayalpata Hospital for medical attention, according to police reports.

It's noteworthy that all the deceased and injured individuals hail from the same local ward, amplifying the sorrow felt within the community.
