Manakamana cable car service to pause operations for maintenance

MUGLIN: The Manakamana cable car service will be temporarily closed on March 20 for routine maintenance, announced Manakamana Darshan Pvt Ltd.
Deputy General Manager Ujjwal Sherchan confirmed that the cable car service will resume regular operations from March 21.
The Manakamana cable car service, inaugurated in 2055 BS, provides swift transportation from Kurintar in Ichchhakamana-4, Chitwan district, to the revered Manakamana Temple in Gorkha district within a mere 10-minute ride.
This service holds the distinction of being the first cable car service in Nepal.
