PM Dahal receives report on gold smuggling investigation, calls for swift action

KATHMANDU: Home Minister Rabi Lamichhane presented the findings of the Gold Smuggling Probe Commission to Prime Minister Pushpa Kamal Dahal on Friday at the Prime Minister's residence in Baluwatar.

Upon receiving the report, PM Dahal emphasized the need for prompt action against those involved in the smuggling, as well as individuals who facilitated the perpetrators and officials found negligent during the investigation.

The probe commission had handed over the report to Minister Lamichhane on Thursday.

Minister Lamichhane reiterated his commitment to taking decisive actions against those responsible for gold smuggling following the handover.
