54 long-serving police personnel to be transferred from TIA

KATHMANDU: A significant change is on the horizon for Tribhuvan International Airport (TIA) as 54 long-serving police personnel are slated for transfer.

The Valley Police Office, Rani Pokhari, has initiated the transfer of these officers who have diligently served at TIA for durations ranging from five to 16 years.

AIG Deepak Thapa confirmed the development, stating that a fresh team will soon take over responsibilities at the airport, marking a transition in its security management.
