Partly cloudy weather forecasted for Koshi, Bagmati, and Gandaki Provinces, possibility of light snowfall in mountain areas

KATHMANDU: The Department of Hydrology and Meteorology, Weather Forecasting Division, predicts partly cloudy weather in Koshi, Bagmati, and Gandaki Provinces today, with mainly clear conditions expected in the remaining parts of the country.

This weather pattern is attributed to the partial influence of a westerly low-pressure system.

There is a possibility of light snowfall in some areas of the high hills and mountain regions of Koshi and Gandaki provinces.

Later tonight, the hilly areas of Koshi, Bagmati, and Gandaki are expected to experience partly cloudy conditions, while the remaining areas will be clear.

Looking ahead, on Sunday, there is a likelihood of light snowfall in select locations of Gandaki, Karnali, and the high hilly and mountainous areas of Sudurpaschim Province.

Additionally, light snowfall may occur on Monday in certain areas of the high hills and mountain regions within Koshi, Bagmati, Gandaki, and Karnali provinces, according to the Division.
