Chance of light to moderate rain across Nepal today

KATHMANDU: Cloudy weather prevails across the nation today, with light rain reported in select areas of Karnali, Lumbini, and Gandaki provinces, as well as a few places in Sudurpaschim province.

In Kathmandu Valley, cloudy skies persist since morning, accompanied by sporadic light rain, according to the Weather Forecasting Division.

The influence of westerly winds suggests a likelihood of light to moderate rain in most parts of the country today.

Moreover, some highlands and mountainous regions may experience light to moderate snowfall.

As the day progresses, there remains a possibility of light to moderate rain in several areas of Koshi, Madhes, Sudurpaschim, and Karnali provinces, with light rain expected in a few places elsewhere in the country later tonight.
