Weather Update: Possibility of light rain and snowfall in parts of Nepal

KATHMANDU: The current weather scenario in Nepal is influenced partially by the westerly wind, resulting in partly to generally cloudy conditions across the country, as reported by the Meteorological Forecasting Division of the Department of Hydrology and Meteorology.

Throughout the day, the weather is expected to be partly to generally cloudy in the Koshi, Madhes, Bagmati, Gandaki, Lumbini, and Karnali provinces.

However, the Sudurpaschim province is likely to experience partially to mainly fair weather conditions in the afternoon.

Additionally, light snowfall is anticipated at a few places in the high-hilly and mountainous regions of the country, according to the Division's weather bulletin.
