Nepal vs. Canada ODI Series Update: Nepal off to a steady start in chase

KATHMANDU: Nepal, chasing a target of 233 runs, has made a commendable start, scoring 106 runs for the loss of one wicket in 20 overs.

Having won the toss, Nepal opted to bowl first and successfully restricted Canada to 232 runs.

At present, opener batsmen Anil Shah and Bhim Sharki are at the crease, contributing 58 and 28 runs respectively to the team's total.

To secure victory, Nepal needs to score an additional 127 runs in the remaining 30 overs. The team currently maintains a run rate of 5.30, while the required run rate stands at 4.23.

Unfortunately, opener Kushal Burtel was dismissed after scoring 13 runs in 4.5 overs.

Nepal has already secured the series title against Canada with consecutive victories in the matches held on Thursday and Saturday.
