As the valley experiences a shiver-inducing cold, the mercury dropped to an unprecedented low for this year, reaching 2.1 degrees Celsius on Sunday morning.

The Meteorological Forecasting Division has issued advisories, urging the general public to stay warm and take necessary precautions to combat the harsh weather conditions.
