Pashupatinagar Customs Office collects Rs 13.41 million in first half of FY 2080/81 BS

ILAM: The Pashupatinagar Customs Office in Ilam has reported revenue collection of Rs 13.41 million in the initial six months of the current fiscal year 2080/81 BS, achieving 69.96 percent of its set target.

For the ongoing fiscal year, the Customs Office has set a revenue collection target of Rs 19.17 million. In comparison, during the fiscal year 2077/78 BS, the office collected Rs 10.2 million against a target of Rs 28.99 million, as disclosed by the Office Chief, Prabin Subba.

Similarly, in the fiscal year 2078/79 BS, the office achieved a revenue collection of Rs 8.73 million, falling short of the Rs 25.34 million target.

Subba further highlighted that in the fiscal year 2079/80 BS, the Customs Office surpassed expectations by collecting Rs 27.18 million against a target of Rs 25.085 million.

Notably, the highest revenue during that period was generated through the auction of illegally imported goods.
