Kathmandu records lowest temperature of the year this morning

KATHMANDU: This morning, Kathmandu experienced the lowest temperature of the year, with the mercury dropping to 2 degrees Celsius at 6 AM.

This marks the lowest temperature recorded in the capital so far this season.

A gradual decline in temperatures has been observed nationwide in recent days.

In Jiri, the minimum temperature plummeted to minus 1.6 degrees Celsius, while in Jomsom, it reached a bone-chilling minus 5.5 degrees Celsius this morning.

The cooling trend has impacted various regions, highlighting the onset of colder weather conditions.
