Justice's wife attempts self-immolation at Supreme Court

KATHMANDU: In a distressing turn of events, Aarati Rawal, the wife of Justice Bhuvan Giri, attempted self-immolation by spraying kerosene on her body at the Supreme Court premises on Sunday afternoon.

The incident unfolded amidst recent domestic disputes between Giri and Rawal.

Prompt intervention by the authorities averted a tragedy, as the police swiftly took control of the situation, preventing further harm. Aarati Rawal was immediately transported to the hospital for necessary medical attention.
