PM Cup Women’s Cricket: APF sets target of 115 runs for Koshi to clinch the trophy

KATHMANDU: The finale of the Prime Minister Cup Women’s National Tournament unfolded with intense competition as the Armed Police Force Club set a target of 115 runs for Koshi Province to secure the championship trophy.

APF's innings saw them post a total of 114 runs, losing seven wickets within the stipulated overs.

Indu Barma emerged as the star performer for APF, showcasing a stellar performance with a half-century that included one six and six fours during her 47-ball innings. Contributions from openers Jyoti Pandey and captain Sita Rana Magar, along with Rema Thapa, Mamata Chaudhary, Sarita Magar, and Karuna Bhandari, added depth to the team's score.

Koshi Province faces a challenging task ahead as they embark on their pursuit of the target set by APF.

The bowling prowess of Afsari Begum, who secured three wickets, and Aliya Khatiwada, with two wickets, highlights the competitive nature of the final.
