Ashok Silwal appointed an expert in Pashupati

KATHMANDU, Dec 25: Journalist Ashok Silwal, who is also a Langtang goodwill ambassador, has been appointed Pashupati expert. Pashupati Area Development Trust has appointed Silwal as an expert.

Silwal is the author of books such as Kalam, Lekhak Duniya, Sri Lanka Smriti, and others. He is also an advisor of the Village Tourism Promotion Forum Nepal.

Silwal, who is equally active in journalism and tourism, made two documentaries titled 'People Returning' and 'Waking and Walking' as the first journalist to reach Langtang on foot after the devastating earthquake of 2015 April 25.

"I am excited to have the opportunity to contribute to Pashupati, the greatest center of spirituality and faith," said Silwal, who is active in promoting the beautiful aspects of Nepal's nature and culture in many ways and roles nationally and internationally.
