Turning Challenges into Triumphs: Juniper Trust Celebrates the 20th School Rebuild in Nepal
NEPAL EVERGREEN: Planting 100,000 Fruit Trees to Offset Tourism's Carbon Footprint
KATHMANDU, Nov 3: Juniper Trust, a non-profit organization has announced the successful completion of its mission to rebuild 20 schools severely affected by the 2015 earthquake in Nepal. The culminating event took place on October 25th, 2023, with the joyous inauguration of the final school in Ranjana Devi, marking the end of a seven-and-a-half-year-long journey. This significant milestone was made possible by the support of Juniper Trust Donors, who contributed a remarkable £350,000 to achieve this feat.
Throughout its journey, Juniper Trust has worked to establish community libraries, furnish essential equipment, and ensure every student has access to the resources essential for their educational success. As a result, over 2,000 children in the remotest regions of Nepal have benefited from Juniper Trust's initiatives, fostering a promising outlook for a brighter future.
Juniper Trust has invited everyone to the celebration of the milestone, at Hotel Shankar on the 14th of November, 2023, at 1 p.m. Attendees will be able to witness the transformative impact of the organization's efforts. Juniper Trust is also encouraging everyone to consider becoming part of the ongoing support for these schools. It has also been announced that attendees will be provided with snacks at the event.
