ICC Women's T20 World Cup Asia Qualifiers: Match between Nepal and UAE cancelled

KATHMANDU, Sep 6: The match between Nepal and the United Arab Emirates (UAE) in the ICC Women's T20 World Cup Asia Qualifiers scheduled for today has been cancelled due to rain. The match was cancelled when even the toss could not be done due to the rain, and both sides ended the game by dividing 1 point each.

With this, UAE has entered the semi-finals as the winner of Group A, while Nepal has also entered the semi-finals as the runner-up of Group A.

Now Nepal will play against the winner of Group B on September 8 in the semi-finals.

Nepal remained unbeaten in the group-stage match. It defeated the host Malaysia by five runs, Bahrain by 10 wickets, Bhutan by three wickets and Qatar by nine wickets.
