Heavy rainfall throughout KTM, Bishnumati River crosses alert level

KATHMANDU, July 23: Torrential rainfall has struck different areas of the Kathmandu Valley today. 

Hydrology and Meteorology Department's Forecasting Division has informed that the water level in the Bishnumati River in Gongbu has crossed the alert level due to heavy rainfall on Sunday evening.

The Department has asked travellers and people residing near riversides to exercise high vigilance until night.
