Ministry of Health instructs hospitals to monitor employees

KATHMANDU, July 23: The Ministry of Health and Population has instructed all hospitals to monitor whether health workers and staffs are present during office hours. The Ministry gave this instruction to all Director Generals through a press release.

The press release reads, "In accordance with the decision on 2080/04/07, this Ministry (Secretary level) requests the heads of offices to regularly monitor and inspect all employees under the Health Service and Civil Service if they are present in the office during the office hours determined by the Government of Nepal."

The Ministry also stated that they themselves will monitor from time to time.
