One dies after a rundown wooden bridge gives way

Jajarkot - A 43 – year – old man was killed after a wooden bridge over a river gave way at Triveni Nalgadh municipality – 3 on Monday. 

Hum Bahadur Pariyar, a native of the same locality, fell into the Sankat river after the wooden bridge collapsed. He was swept around 200 metres downhill by the river, local Laxman Rasaili said. 

The locals had been demanding a concrete bridge over the river. They had been forced to cross the river using the ramshackle wooden bridge.
