MBA in Hospitality program launched for the first time in Nepal

KATHMANDU, June 18: For the first time in Nepal, International MBA in Hospitality program has been launched and offered to students from the year 2023. The program was launched at Silver Mountain School of Hotel Management on the occasion of its 17th Graduation Ceremony on the 16th of June 2023.

In the event held at Hotel Hyatt Regency in Kathmandu, Chairman and Founder Principal Samir Thapa delivered a welcome speech, followed by a speech from the Chief Guest Binayak Shah, President of Hotel Association Nepal who emphasized the contribution made by the school to the hospitality industry.

Shortly after, Thomas Peschken Holt, Co-Acting Head of Queen Margaret University, as the Guest of Honor, took the opportunity to announce the new program, the MBA in Hospitality, which was officially launched in Nepal.

Toward the end of the event, Sir Paul Grice, Principal and Vice-Chancellor of Queen Margaret University, congratulated and expressed his gratitude to the graduating students.
