Seven-point agreement between Government and Mahabir Pun

KATHMANDU, May 1: A seven-point agreement has been made between the government and the chairman of the National Innovation Center, Mahabir Pun. Seven point agreement was made between Deputy Prime Minister and Defense Minister Purna Bahadur Khadka and Center Chairman Pun on Monday.

It has been agreed between the two parties that the government will establish a fund to carry out research and development, innovation, and invention activities in an integrated manner.

Similarly, it is stated in the consent letter to introduce and pass a bill in the next session of the federal parliament to manage and operate the fund and that the draft of the bill will be prepared within the next 60 days in consultation with stakeholders. It is also said that other issues mentioned in the demand letter will have to be taken into consideration when the government makes the law.

It has been agreed to end all protest programs including the sit-in under Pun's leadership.
