Gandaki Province's newly elected Chief Minister and Ministers sworn in

POKHARA, April 28: The newly appointed Chief Minister of Gandaki Province Surendraraj Pandey has taken the oath of office and secrecy. Chief Minister Pandey took the oath at the provincial chief's residence on Friday. Along with the Chief Minister, two ministers have also taken the oath. Shushila Simkhada from Maoist and Saraswati Aryal from Congress took oath as non-departmental ministers.

Chief Minister Prithviman Gurung administered the oath to Chief Minister Pandey. Provincial Chief Gurung appointed Pandey as the Chief Minister of Gandaki Province in accordance with Clause 2 of Article 168 of the Constitution on Thursday. 

Pandey has become the fifth Chief Minister of the Province.
