Pandey appointed as Gandaki's fifth Chief Minister

POKHARA, April 27: Congress Parliamentary Party leader Surendra Raj Pandey has been appointed as the Chief Minister of Gandaki Province. The Provincial Chief Prithviman Gurung appointed him as the fifth Chief Minister of Gandaki Province on Thursday.

Pandey has been appointed as the Chief Minister according to Clause 2 of Article 168 of the Constitution. Chief Minister Pandey is scheduled to take the oath on Friday.
