Making of Rato Machchhindranath chariot in its final stage
KATHMANDU, April 19: The work of making the chariot for the Rato Machchhindranath chariot procession has reached its final stage. The chariot construction work has reached its final stage for the chariot procession beginning on Monday.
The chariot of Rato Machchhindranath is considered the tallest chariot in Nepal. The height of this chariot, which is built without the use of nails, is about 20 feet. Machchhindranath will be ridden on the chariot on Friday. Chariot builders have said that the construction work has been completed and now only the decoration work is remaining.
