Vice President's election: 409 votes cast

KATHMANDU, March 17: In the voting to elect a new Vice President which started at the Federal Parliament Building, New Baneshwor at 10:00 am today,  409 votes have been cast till 11:45 am. 

According to Assistant Election Officer Amrita Kumari Sharma, 158 votes have been cast at the Federal level and 258 votes have been cast at the Provincial level till this time.

The voting will run till 3:00 pm today. 

According to the Office of the Election Officer, the count will begin once the voting is completed and the results will be made public by 6:00 pm today.
