Janata Samajbadi Party's Pramila Yadav withdraws vice presidential candidacy

KATHMANDU, March 13: Pramila Yadav, who had filed her candidacy for the post of Vice President from the Janata Samajbadi Party, has announced the withdrawal of her candidacy.
Yadav made the announcement on Monday and threw her support behind the other candidate, Ram Sahay Yadav.
Yadav's withdrawal comes just a few days before the elections for the Vice President are scheduled to take place.
