Government proposes promotion of five DIGs to AIGS

KATHMANDU, March 10: The government of Nepal has put forth a recommendation to promote five Deputy Inspector Generals (DIG) to the position of Additional Inspector General (AIG).

The individuals who have been recommended for promotion are Basanta Bahadur Kubar, Tek Prasad Rai, Deepak Thapa, Shyam Lam Gyawali, and Kiran Bajracharya.

If approved, these five individuals will be promoted to the rank of AIG in the Nepal Police force.

The decision for their promotion was made by the government based on their performance and dedication to their duties. This move is expected to boost morale among the police force and increase the efficiency of law enforcement in the country.
