Writ petition filed against PM Dahal’s expression at Supreme Court

KATHMANDU, March 7: A writ petition has been filed against Prime Minister Pushpa Kamal Dahal’s expression regarding victims of maoist insurgency at the Supreme Court (SC).
The hearing of the case has been scheduled for March 9, according to Devendra Dahal, assistant spokesperson for the apex court.
PM Dahal on 2076 Magh 1 had maintained that he will take responsibility for 5,000 people killed during the 10 years old maoist insurgency during a Mahi event held at Tudikhel in Kathmandu. The relatives of these people have now demanded the arrest of PM Dahal and action.
