700 traffic police to be mobilized at Pashupatinath Area on Saturday

KATHMANDU, Feb 17: This year Maha Shivratri falls on Saturday, 18 February 2023. Every year, Pashupatinath Temple welcomes millions of devotees and visitors both native and foreign.
This year the government is mobilizing as many as 700 traffic police to manage traffic and vehicular movement in the area.
The government has already banned entry of heavy vehicles at Pashupatinath Area beginning from Friday midnight.
