CPN (US) meeting today

KATHMANDU, Feb. 4: The meeting of the Central Committee of CPN (Unified Socialist) is being held today. Party President Madhav Kumar Nepal will inaugurate the two-day meeting held at Balkumari in Lalitpur for the first time after the House of Representatives and State Assembly elections.
The political report presented by President Nepal and the organizational report presented by General Secretary Dr. Beduram Bhusal will be discussed in the meeting.
Jagannath Khatiwada, Head of the Publicity Department, informed that in the said report, the role to be played by the party and the future work plan will be discussed in the formulation of strategy in the context of the recently developed political situation and events.
It is said that the meeting can change the responsibilities of the central leader as per the need. The reorganization of the organization, the role of the party, and making the activities effective will be discussed.
The party, which has given instructions to update all its committees, departments, and front organizations within the stipulated time frame, has emphasized organization building.
