There is no issue in giving vote of confidence to PM Dahal: Upendra Yadav
KATHMANDU, Jan 8: Upendra Yadav, chairman of Janata Samajbadi Party has maintained that there is no issue in giving a vote of confidence to Prime Minister Pushpa Kamal Dahal.
Talking about a meeting recently held between PM Dahal, Yadav and Madhav Kumar Nepal, chairman of CPN (Unified Socialist), Yadav maintained that the Janata Samajbadi Party will surely support PM Dahal.
Prime Minister Pushpa Kamal Dahal is scheduled to take a vote of confidence on January 10.
Chairman of CPN (Maoist Center) Pushpa Kamal Dahal was appointed as the new Prime Minister in December last week.
President Bidya Devi Bhandari appointed Dahal as the new PM of Nepal after the Nepali Congress being the largest party in the federal parliament failed to acquire a clear majority in the House of Representatives as per Article 76 (2) of the Constitution of Nepal and stake a claim to form a new government in the given deadline.
