Hearing of writ petition regarding Lamichhane’s qualification to be a lawmaker on Jan 6

KATHMANDU, Dec 27: Hearing of the writ petition filed regarding Rabi Lamichhane’s qualification to be a lawmaker has been scheduled for January 6, next year.
Earlier, Yubaraj Poudel had filed a writ petition against Rabi Lamichhane, Chairman of Rastriya Swatantra Party, who has now been appointed the Deputy Prime Minister and Minister for Home Affairs.
Likewise, the Constitutional Bench had earlier issued an order to the defendant to submit its response within seven days on Dec 21.
