Deuba in search of rented house to leave Baluwatar

Kathmandu - It will be a few days before the outgoing Prime Minister and Congress President Sher Bahadur Deuba leaves government residence. After a sudden breakup of the ruling coalition, Deuba became an opposition to the new coalition, losing the post of Prime Minister. After losing the post, he will have to leave his official residence, Baluwatar.

As Deuba's residence at Budhanilkanth is undergoing renovation work, he is not able to stay there immediately. It seems that it will take about 4 months to repair the house. Deuba's press advisor Gobinda Pariyar informed Ratopati that the search for a rented house is going on and that the government residence will be vacated as soon as it is found.

Renovation work is currently going on in Budhanilkanth's house. Searching for a new home is underway. A couple of houses have been seen. If we can finalize it today, then we can say when we will move," Pariyar told Ratopati. "As we haven't found a house to move to, it will take time to leave Baluwatar," added Pariyar.

He said that it will take about 4 months for the repair work to be completed, so Deuba will stay in a rented house during that time. "A suitable house has not been found yet. Everything from parking to security is needed," he said, "If the house can be confirmed today, it means that we can move in a couple of days."

Congress became the first party in the election. But after it did not give up its claim for both the posts of Prime Minister and President, the Maoists cooperated with the UML at the last moment. Because of this, Congress unexpectedly came out of power. It is said that Deuba ordered the repair of the house in Budhanilkanth with the belief that he will continue in power.
