With the collapse of the power coalition, the crowd has increased at the residence of UML president KP Oli in Balkot to complete the arithmetic to form a new government.
After leaving the meeting of the ruling coalition, Chairman of CPN-Maoist Center Prachanda has reached Balkot. Similarly, National Independent Party Chairman Rabi Lamichhane, JSP Federal Council Chairman Ashok Rai, RPP Chairman Rajendra Lingden have reached for discussions with Oli.
It is said that there will be a bilateral and multilateral meeting between them in Balkot. Although the coalition tried to get a majority within the time frame given by President Bidya Devi Bhandari for the formation of the new government, the coalition broke up after the Congress President Sher Bahadur Deuba and the Chairman of the Maoist Center Prachanda disagreed on who would become the Prime Minister first. Discussions have been started in Balkot to form a government as an alternative to that.
