These are the aspirants for Speaker of HoR from ruling alliance
KATHMANDU, Dec 17: With the report of the general election held earlier in November already being submitted to the Office of President, the parties are now busy preparing to form a new government and share power.
It is very much likely the current ruling alliance will form the government. However, the negotiation for the power sharing seems very much challenging for the alliance.
Currently, the post of Prime Minister, President and Speaker of the lower house of parliament are among the top picks. Prior to the election, the three key members of the ruling alliance, the Nepali Congress, the CPN (Maoist Center) and the CPN (Unified Socialist) had agreed informally to share the post of President, Prime Minister and Speaker respectively. Whether they stick to their words is yet to be seen.
These are the aspirants for speaker of the HoR:
1) Arjun Narasingh KC (Nepali Congress)
2) Rekha Sharam of CPN (Maoist Center)
3) Rajendra Pandey and Prakash Jwala of CPN (Unified Socialist)
