Impeachment registered against CJ Rana is not ‘void’: Govt spokesperson

KATHMANDU, Dec 7: Soon after the reports of Suspended Chief Justice Cholendra Shumsher JB Rana receiving a letter from the Parliament Secretariat maintaining that the impeachment leveled against the latter is ‘void’ flooded the news media, Gyanendra Bahadur Karki, Minister for the Information and Technology and spokesperson for the government maintained the impeachment motion registered against Rana is not ‘void’.

Minister Karki maintained that the new parliament will take a decision regarding the impeachment during a press conference held at the Ministry.
