Impeachment motion filed against CJ Rana revoked

KATHMANDU, Dec 7: Suspended Chief Justice Cholendra Shumsher JB Rana received a letter from the Parliament Secretariat maintaining that the impeachment leveled against the latter is ‘void’, according to Dr Rojnath Pandey, spokesperson for the Parliament Secretariat.

Rana is now preparing to join the Supreme Court any time soon.

Speaking to Ratopati, Rana maintained that he has received the letter and is now in preparation to join the apex court.
